Our Priorities

We help people in Clackamas County solve land management problems on private property. This includes improving habitats for wildlife, controlling erosion, getting rid of harmful weeds, replacing failing septic systems, keeping forests healthy, and more.

Healthy soil helps our farms, ranches, forests, and even our backyards thrive.

Clean and plentiful water supports people, plants, and animals in Clackamas County.

Successful farms support the farmers, the community, and the local economy.

Well-managed forests are productive, fire-adapted, and home to diverse wildlife.

Diverse wildlife habitat provides healthy and functional forests, rivers, and landscapes for future generations.

Invasive weeds raise food costs, harm wildlife habitat, and lower property values.

How We Help

Our Programs

Our Conservation and WeedWise Specialists work with landowners to help them care for the land. We focus on what we do best. Whether it’s controlling invasive weeds, managing land, or improving wildlife habitats, we have many ways to help. If you need something we do not offer, we will do our best to point you in the right direction.

How Can We Help?

Not sure if we offer what you need?

Everything we do helps our community protect natural resources.

Our goal is to support and assist those who care for land and water. We help people:

Keep water clean and use less so there is enough for people, plants, and animals.

Remove harmful weeds that hurt crops, animals, and the environment.

Protect wild places like forests and prairies.

Create and protect homes for wildlife.

Keep land healthy and productive while caring for nature.

Keep the soil healthy, which is important for farms, forests, and wildlife.

Conservation of land and conservation of people frequently go hand in hand.
