That is a lot of forest land, but not all forests are the same. We are lucky to have Douglas fir forests, hardwood forests, Oreagon white oak communities, and diverse riparian woodlands..
No matter the type, forests give us many benefits. They are homes for wildlife, provide wood for building, and are great places for people to enjoy. Forests also help clean the air and keep our water clean.
